1) Machine Shop Foreman
PMC is accepting investment from an overseas machine tool company to set up a manufacturing shop in Calgary and is looking for a machine shop foreman to run the operations and organize the PMC products showroom.
Responsibilities:
- Finish PMC’s work assignment
- Run production operations according to PMC’s plant policies and procedures
- Actively meet customers and negotiate business
- Ensure quality control and make products within specifications
- Coordinate production start-ups, shut downs, and changeovers
- Hire more workers as production requires
- Train and coach production employees
Qualifications:
- Solid experience setting up and running versatile machine tools including turning machines and milling machines, both manually and by CNC
Rates:
- Will be paid base rate plus commission of revenues generated by machine shop
