1.   INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC - MILLWRIGHT

Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Industrial Mechanic - Millwright with strong experience.

Start Date: Immediatedly

Millwright responsibilities and duties
  • Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment on site.
  • Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures.
  • Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it at the appropriate time.
  • Align and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Perform predictive and operational procedures.
  • Repair or replace defective parts.
  • Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain an inventory of replacements parts.
  • Create solid foundations for machines on-site safe and efficient interaction with machinery and equipment
  • Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation
  • Grind and file machinery parts both on-site and in controlled circumstances.
Millwright qualifications and skills
  • Red Seal Journeyman or equivalent certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of equipment and machinery
  • Efficient time-management skills
  • Ability to get along with and supervise the work of others.
  • Hydraulic system assembling experience including hydraulic cylinder is a good asset.
  • Operation skill (capability) for large size NC lathe such as turning ΙΈ34” x 160” long would be a good asset.
  • Downhole pump maintenance, assembling and repairing experience is a good asset.
  • Welding and fabrication experience an asset.

2.  CNC Operator/Machinist

Terms of Employment: Permanent
Skill Requirements:
Education: 
Completion of college/vocational or technical training
                    Machinist Trade Certification an asset

Experience: 5 years or more 
Work Setting: Job Shop
Type of Machine Experience: Computer Numerical Control (CNC) 
Machining Tools and Machines: CNC machines, Manual machines, 
Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables,

                        Set up and adjust production machinery,
                        Produce quality parts in a timely manner,
                        Ability to program, test run programs on machines, prove out cycle times, 
                        Assist in production planning in order to set and achieve optimal production targets,

                        Meet Quality requirements with all manufactured parts,
                        Communicate with Supervisor to quickly and effectively resolve any issues related to machining or quality,
                        Other duties as assigned.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended period, Frequent/repetitive lifting/moving of materials up to 50 pounds, Specific vision required for equipment inspection, PPE will be used as required
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Computer use, Ability and willingness to work overtime as required,  Innovative, Self- motivated and detailed-oriented with an ability to work with low supervision.  Able to work in Canada.
